CAN I REQUEST A CUSTOM JAR?
Yes! Everything in the jar is customizable, from the color of the rocks to plant species and even the color of shrimp added! You can even bring me your own glass jar (must message for approval) and I can turn it into an ecojar. Bear in mind each add on will carry its own cost unless I already own the decoration you're looking for. Custom jars can also take 1-2 months to make. WHATS THE LIFESPAN OF MY JAR?
Generally the plants in the jars should live for about 3-5 years, possibly longer if proper care is taken. My first jar is a few years old and doing great!
CAN I OPEN THE JAR?
Yes, jars can be opened to tend to plants and shrimp but its not advised to permanently leave the lid off as other particles can enter the jars environment and the water will eventually evaporate.
WILL MY JAR NEED WATER CHANGES?
No, water in the jar will cycle naturally and should not evaporate if jars are properly sealed. However if algae grows out of control, due to to too much sunlight, a water change might be necessary.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY SHRIMP DIES?
If one or more of your shrimps dies within the first week of receiving your jar I will replace them for free, after that I will provide shrimp at a discount. If multiple deaths occur I will conduct a water quality test free of charge.
HOW ARE JARS PRICED?
Simply put, jars are rarely ever the same. Each jar will be a different size, shape, and have varying plant species. The prices will reflect this.
HOW OFTEN ARE JARS AVAILABLE?
Jars can take 3-4 weeks to make so they may not always be regularly available, however I try to make new ones every fortnight.
